How do you communicate your message, the one that your customers want to hear, at a farmers market?

Two ways: when you tell a customer face to face and with signage that you display.

But not just any signs.

As advertising legend David Ogilvy said, advertising isn't art, it's there to sell product.

Given that, make sure that your signs that are clear, understandable, and easy to read from near, and afar.

The whole goal of signage is to get people to come over to your booth and talk to you so you can then tell them your story.

The sign doesn't sell the product, you do. The function of the sign is to get people to stop and talk to you.

And if people can't read your sign then they probably won't stop to get the rest of your story.
